Through the Health & Wellness Program, FRMS provides Member Districts with subsidies to offset the costs associated with pre-placement and annual medical exams administered in both a traditional clinic and on-site environment (provider dependent). Member Districts may select from one of the contracted providers for such services. All four vendors provide NFPA 1582 -compliant physicals, with varying optional add-ons, dependent upon the District’s needs.

1582 assists districts by conducting annual exams on-site or at a regional location. Services include NFPA 1582-compliant examinations for $750 per physical (of which FRMS subsidizes a portion). Exams include blood/urine testing, occupational health testing, cardiopulmonary/fitness evaluation, and a physical exam. Optional services, provided at an additional cost, include a full body ultrasound and echocardiogram with cardiac risk stratification.

Pinnacle Training Systems
Pinnacle provides annual exams on-site at the Member District. Services include NFPA 1582-compliant physicals for $660 per physical (of which FRMS subsidizes a portion). Exams include a medical history review, immunization status history, biometrics, resting/stress EKG, spirometry, etc. Optional services, provided at an additional cost, include comprehensive fitness testing and functional movement screening.
On Duty Health provides a full NFPA 1582, 1583, and WFI-compliant assessments on-site for $699 (of which FRMS subsidizes a portion). Exams include comprehensive labs and urinalysis, full physical assessment with vision and hearing, maximal 12-lead EKG treadmill stress test with cardiology, TRUE VO2 Max Testing, muscular endurance and strength analysis, ultrasound enhanced cancer screening with radiology, and behavioral health assessment. Optional services, provided at an additional cost, include new hire and return to duty screening, cancer, and other labs, radiology, mental health support, personal training, and nutrition counseling.
